Erin Whelan Pennock joined Black & Vitelli Of Counsel in August, 2011. Prior to joining Black & Vitelli, she worked as an Associate with Lovenberg & Associates, a Boston firm where she focused her practice in the areas of family law and civil litigation and successfully represented clients before various courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts including, but not limited to, the Probate and Family Court, Superior Court and Housing Court. Attorney Pennock also successfully argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court in the reported case, Dickey v. Warren, 75 Mass. App. Ct. 585 (2009).
Attorney Pennock continues to focus her practice primarily in the areas of family law, specifically divorce and post-divorce matters involving child custody, visitation, child support, retirement division and alimony. In addition to family law, Attorney Pennock also handles probate matters, civil litigation and landlord/tenant disputes. She is also open to speaking with potential clients about alternatives to litigation as she is a trained mediator and collaborative law attorney.
Attorney Pennock is an active member with the Women's Bar Association and a volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyers Project providing pro-bono legal services to the elderly and assisting victims of domestic violence. She also volunteers her services for the Massachusetts Bar Association Dial-A-Lawyer program and Middlesex Bar Association Conciliation program.
